The 2027 Lexus IS is getting greener, but there is no hybrid powertrain behind this update. Lexus is adding an Envious green Special Appearance Package while keeping the IS 350’s naturally aspirated V6 and a choice of rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
The regular lineup starts at $47,545 including delivery, with dealership arrivals expected later in 2026. The green package is limited to 350 cars for North America, and its price has not yet been announced.
Envious green comes with more than special paint
The Special Appearance Package starts with the IS 350 F Sport and adds Envious paint, black 19-inch BBS forged wheels and a black cabin with Ultrasuede seat inserts, green stitching and satin chrome trim. Lexus announced the limited run at the final stop of its IS anniversary tour in August.
It also bundles the Handling Package, including adaptive suspension and additional drive modes. Rear-wheel-drive cars receive a Torsen limited-slip rear differential. The Technology Package, triple-beam LED headlights, moonroof, panoramic-view camera system, power rear sunshade and Mark Levinson audio are included as well.
The 350-car allocation covers North America, rather than the United States alone. Buyers interested in the package will need to confirm availability and the final price with a dealer; the base IS price is not the price of this limited configuration.
The V6 stays, with different transmissions for RWD and AWD
All 2027 IS models use a 3.5-liter V6 rated at 311 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel-drive versions pair it with an eight-speed automatic, while all-wheel-drive models use a six-speed automatic.
The two grades are IS 350 F Sport Design and IS 350 F Sport. The appearance package changes the equipment and presentation, but Lexus does not list a horsepower increase for it. Shoppers choosing between rear-wheel and all-wheel drive should account for the transmission difference as well as traction needs.
Regular IS models get updates, too
For 2027, F Sport Design receives new black-and-machined 19-inch wheels and a standard heated steering wheel. Across the range, Lexus lists a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a separate 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a standard 10-speaker audio system and Lexus Safety System+ 3.0.

Prices including the $1,395 delivery, processing and handling fee are $47,545 for F Sport Design rear-wheel drive and $49,545 with all-wheel drive. F Sport starts at $49,845 with rear-wheel drive or $51,845 with all-wheel drive, before options, taxes and other fees.
The September model-year announcement supplies regular-model pricing, while the August package reveal details the limited edition’s equipment. For buyers who mainly want the V6 sedan, the regular trims remain the less complicated starting point; the green package adds scarcity and a longer equipment list.
