After Dark joins the 2027 Dodge Durango

The 2027 Dodge Durango’s newest exterior paint color, After Dark, is a dark metallic blue. In bright sunlight, the metallic finish becomes more apparent; in lower light, it takes on a darker look.
Dodge announced the color on September 3, 2026, with a $595 U.S. MSRP. It is offered across the Hemi-powered lineup, so choosing the new paint does not require stepping up to the Hellcat.
Nine exterior colors to choose from

The 2027 Dodge Durango palette includes After Dark, Redeye, B5 Blue, Destroyer Grey, Green Machine, Night Moves, Pitch Black, Red Oxide and White Knuckle. Redeye was the eighth addition, followed by After Dark.
The two newer colors give buyers another choice alongside the familiar blue, gray, green, black and white finishes. Check the final order sheet for the paint charge and compatibility with the trim and appearance options you select.
SRT Hellcat Jailbreak expands the combinations

The 2027 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is offered with the Jailbreak package, allowing buyers to combine an extensive range of interior and exterior choices. Wheel designs, Brembo brake-caliper colors, badges, paint, stripes and cabin appointments are part of the customization menu.
Dodge says the addition of After Dark takes the Jailbreak program beyond 16 million possible build combinations. That figure describes the combinations of available choices, not 16 million distinct paint colors or mechanical configurations.
Three V8 choices and standard all-wheel drive

The Durango is a three-row SUV, with the 2027 Hemi lineup spanning the GT Hemi, R/T 392 and SRT Hellcat. The GT Hemi has a 5.7-liter V8 producing 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque.
Moving to the R/T 392 brings a 392-cubic-inch, 6.4-liter Hemi V8 rated at 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. The SRT Hellcat uses a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 producing 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft. These models have standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The paint announcement adds a styling choice across those powertrains. It does not change their output or turn a GT into an R/T or Hellcat.
