The 2027 Aston Martin Heritage Edition collection brings five vintage colors to modern sports cars. Created with Q by Aston Martin, these one-off commissions are exclusive to Aston Martin Newport Beach.
Five cars, five revived colors

The DB12 coupe wears Pacific Blue; the DB12 Volante gets Pale Primrose. Tudor Green goes to the Vanquish coupe, Winchester Blue to the Vantage coupe and Mink Silver to the Vantage Roadster. Aston Martin revived finishes associated with its older cars using contemporary paint technology.
Powertrain and size: V8s or a V12

Underneath the special finishes are very different proportions. Aston Martin’s current Vantage coupe specifications list a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, an eight-speed automatic and a length of 4,495 millimeters, or about 177 inches. Its 665 metric horsepower converts to approximately 656 hp.
The DB12 coupe pairs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with an eight-speed automatic. Its 680 metric horsepower equates to about 671 hp. At 4,725 millimeters, roughly 186 inches, it is about nine inches longer than the Vantage coupe and has a 2+2 seating layout.
The Vanquish moves up to a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 rated at 824 hp. Aston Martin lists its federal-market length at 4,895 millimeters, approximately 192.7 inches, and a claimed 214-mph maximum speed. These current model specifications provide context; the Heritage announcement does not claim a mechanical upgrade.
The Heritage treatment continues inside

Special seat perforation and fluting, embroidered armrests and Heritage Edition sill plaques distinguish the cabins. The DB12 pair and Vanquish also receive open-pore walnut inlays.
Availability is limited to individual commissions

Aston Martin’s August announcement provides no prices or current inventory status. Each car is a unique commission through the Newport Beach dealership.
Our take: the appeal here is the combination of color, trim and body style. Choose the underlying car first. A finish you love will not change its footprint, seating or engine character.
