The 2027 Lincoln Nautilus gets a redesigned front end, new cabin themes and a longer list of included technology services. The biggest everyday change may be less visible than the new grille: Lincoln says every Nautilus includes four years of BlueCruise 1.5, connectivity and its security package.
Gas and hybrid powertrains remain available, with the hybrid producing up to 310 horsepower. Lincoln announced that orders are open, with showroom arrivals expected in early 2027. Here are the changes worth knowing before shopping the updated midsize luxury SUV.
A new face, revised rear lighting and more color choices
Lincoln gives the 2027 Nautilus a wider, more detailed grille, a redesigned hood and reshaped fenders. Updated lighting ties the front and rear designs together, while slimmer rear lamps give the Lincoln lettering more prominence.
The available Jet Appearance Package continues across Premiere, Reserve and Black Label, with gloss-black grille and exterior accents and 20- or 22-inch wheels. The broader wheel range spans 19 to 22 inches. Lincoln’s current 2027 preview describes five new wheel designs plus one refreshed option.
Nocturnal Blue joins the exterior palette across the lineup. Frosted Fig, a plum-purple finish, is exclusive to Black Label. Those changes give buyers more ways to distinguish trims without changing the Nautilus into a different class of vehicle.
New interiors and broader access to comfort features
Premiere and Reserve gain an available lighter Afterglow interior, while Reserve also offers Hot Chocolate. Black Onyx gets revised lower-cabin trim. At the top of the range, Black Label introduces Eminent Hour and Elysian Light themes, each combining specific leather, wood and accent colors.
Eminent Hour uses Tranquil Dusk seating, copper-toned open-pore ash wood and an Ebony headliner. Elysian Light takes a brighter approach with Soft Cloud leather, blue accents, pearlescent ash wood and a light headliner. These are distinct interior combinations, rather than simply different seat colors.
The Renew Package expands to Reserve 200A. It combines Lincoln Rejuvenate with 24-way front seats featuring memory and massage. Rejuvenate coordinates cabin displays, sound, seat position and climate for use while parked; Digital Scent adds available cabin fragrances. Shoppers interested in those features should compare the package equipment rather than assume every Nautilus includes them.
Four years of BlueCruise and connected services
The 48-inch panoramic display remains the cabin’s defining feature. Lincoln says the 2027 model includes four years of activated connectivity for navigation, apps and an unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot, along with four years of its security package.
BlueCruise 1.5 also comes with four years of included service. It adds automatic lane changes to the hands-free highway assistance system. BlueCruise still requires an attentive driver who watches the road and remains ready to take control, and hands-free operation is limited to compatible Blue Zones.
The included service period matters when comparing ownership costs. These are time-limited connected services, so buyers planning to keep the SUV longer should check renewal terms and pricing. Connectivity also depends on modem activation and network availability; the security package requires the Lincoln app and an active plan.
Powertrain, passenger space and arrival timing
The standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder makes 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The available hybrid combines a high-output 2.0-liter turbo engine with a 100-kW electric motor and a continuously variable transmission for up to 310 horsepower. Lincoln’s preview lists all-wheel drive for the hybrid.
For passenger space, Lincoln quotes 43.1 inches of second-row legroom. That is a useful figure for families comparing rear-seat comfort, but a test fit with the usual passengers and child seats will tell buyers more than a specification alone.
Lincoln’s August announcement says orders are open and showroom arrivals are expected in early 2027. The announcement and preview reviewed here do not provide a complete U.S. price list or final EPA fuel-economy ratings. Those figures should be checked when comparing a specific 2027 vehicle with remaining 2026 inventory.
The practical choice is whether the refreshed design, expanded comfort options and included services justify waiting. Hybrid buyers should compare the actual trim and option prices once available, rather than treating the higher horsepower figure as the whole value equation.
